In the worst case scenario, the walls might collapse due to losing their structural integrity. Selecting the most appropriate system or membrane is significantly important as these areas are likely to be inaccessible in the future.
‘Peel and Stick’ system can often be found in retaining wall waterproofing systems. It is a self adhesive waterproofing membrane composed of Styrene-Butadiene-Styrenemodified bitumen and a tri-laminated woven polyethylene facer. The main advantages of the ‘Peel and Stick’ system are high tensile strength, higher flexibility and more consistent thickness. PWSS will determine whether “Peel and Stick’ system is suitable for your application.
PWSS will ensure that our nominated waterproofing membranes and methods of application comply with Australian Standards and the Building Code of Australia. Our installers are qualified per CPC31411 Cert III in construction waterproofing. This is part of our commitment to providing our clients with peace of mind. PWSS is a proud accredited preferred applicator of Allduro products. We will also be happy to offer other waterproofing membranes from other manufacturers to suit your preference or project specifications.
